We would like to say that we think it doesn't get any better than this in color but we have not seen every colored alpaca in the US. But we reckon the phenotype, the pedigree, the fiber, it all stacks up here as being elite. A stately looking boy that is compact, square, well balanced and heavy boned. Royal Ember has a dynamite fleece. Have a look at the Making of Champions Part 11 brochure where he is on page nine. Extremely high frequency crimp with tons of density, well nourished and superb handle.
For us the pedigree is more important than anything and thats why he is here. He is a Snowmass Royal Rose son ( you know, he is the maker of champions who makes champions, like Snowmass Extreme! ) The mother they say is the best Snowmass brown female, Amber Gold, daughter of Andean Bronze. So Royal Ember has Hemingway, two doses of Bueno and Andean Bronze in his parentage. Sold!
