We cannot believe our luck!

We along with our partners Al Cousill and Jude Anderson of Pucara Alpacas have just purchased the stud male we never ever dreamed that we could afford or that Snowmass Alpacas would release for sale.

And why did we do it?

Each and every alpaca in Star Quest's lineage has proven a production of excellence as has Star Quest himself. Even at his age he is holding his fineness and staple length. It is quitre an impossible feet to find a stud that can produce a record low CV status of 17 from year-to-year. According to Julie Skinner, this is the hardest element to breed into alpaca and one of the MOST IMPORTANT and why Star Quest had been such a huge asset to Snowmass' breeding genetcs. He has stamped his good looks and superior fiber qualities into all his progeny like clock work and why they chose to place him as the most significant white to be offered from their breeding program.
