After selecting from the ranks of herdsires that were made available, Alan and Jude have selected these six stud males.

The Snowmass herd fiber statistics are the best Alonso Burgoss from Groupo Inca in Peru has ever seen. He is the director and manager of that firm and as a textile buyer for the largest processor of alpaca in the world, those are impressive words!
Along with those criteria, the males were selected for constutional vigor, if they were mature, and also for their appearance, meaning their presence and looks.
It is hard to sell animals at a higher price point if they don't have " the look" and the fiber stats to back it up.
While the fiber stats for each of these boys are quite imperssive, we have also obtained skin folicle tests conducted by Dr. James Watts. The results of those test provide empirical evidence of their filicle density. |
